Transportation to race site

Race start and finishes at Lake Union Park 860 Terry Ave N, on the west side of the park.

The start is convenient to downtown and convention hotels – just over 1 mile from the Washington State Convention Center. There are several easy options to get there:

South Lake Union Trolley : Leaves from 5^th Ave and Olive, just across from Westlake Mall. Runs every 15 minutes from 6:00am-11:00am. Leaves Lake Union Park at Terry and Mercer St. Cost $2.50 each way. http://seattlestreetcar.com/slu.htm

Walk: You can walk to the race, it will take you about 20 minutes at an easy pace. Walk north on 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, or 8^th Ave until you get to Westlake Ave N. Continue on Westlake until you get to Lake Union Park.

Cab: You can hail any taxi and ask to be taken to Lake Union Park. The drive is about 5 minutes and will probably cost about $9 plus tips.

Bus: Catch the number 62 from the corner of Blanchard and 4^th Ave, heading north. Get off at Westlake and Mercer St, walk north on Westlake one block. Takes 10 minutes to get to park. Fare: $2.50 each way.
